About Us
Burton & Puddington Tennis Club enjoys an idyllic village setting behind the Gladstone Village Hall (GVH) in Burton. The Tennis Club is part of the GVH charity, run by the community for the community.
With two courts overlooking the beautiful Dee estuary and fields, and run by a small group of local volunteers, we are keen to encourage all ages and abilities to play and benefit from this fantastic community facility.
A lively sports and social club operates around Tennis – with cricket, snooker, bowls and many other activities taking part through the support of the GVH – not to mention the Burton Village socials that take place regularly in the Sports Pavilion.

Court Booking
Members are asked to book ahead when wanting to use the courts. This helps with avoiding any clash of schedule with other players or any scheduled events of the Tennis Club.
Simply select the date and time you would like to play on the calendar.
If times are not available, that means a reservation has been made.
Once you have added your name & email address you will receive confirmation of your booking by email.

Coaching
LTA accredited coaching is available (fee applicable).
Regular small group sessions are organised seasonally by the Club whilst individual private coaching is also an option.
Details are shared via the Club WhatsApp to members and online to enable registration.
Social
Tuesday night 6pm is ‘Mix In’ night for any member that wishes to have a sociable knock-up with other members.
WhatsApp messaging keeps members in touch to propose play – and on occasion to shift time and evenings to take advantage spontaneously of weather and play throughout the year.
All welcome.
